My Activity

Reviewed Spinach and Bacon Quiche

"I customized this recipe to our families preference and it was DELICIOUS!

Instead of bacon, I used cooked turkey sausage.
Instead of cheddar, substituted with Gruyere cheese.

Make 2, if I want any leftovers. Which BTW, is just as good the next day after reheating in toaster over to have that nice crisp crust."

Reviewed Mixed Green Salad With Parmigiano Crisps

"The Parmesan Crisps made a simple salad into a Feast. Altered salad, no onions to make it child friendly. It was fun watching the kids use their crisps to make "salad sandwich". Great way to get them to eat their greens.

Can't believe how easy it was to make. I didn't have the silicone cooking sheet, but parchment paper worked just as well. "

Reviewed Honey Glazed Carrots

"I was weary about overcooking this since I had to increase the portion to a 5 lb. bag of baby carrots for Easter Brunch. Left out the parsley to make it kid friendly. But luckily, everything turned out. Let's just say even the kids devoured them."

Reviewed Baked French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup

"HUGE success. Love the fact that you can make it the night before. And for a beginner cook, it helps build cooking confidence.

I must have forwarded this recipe to all the women who attended the birthday brunch last month. Many wanted the recipe in time for Easter.

For an ordinary day, I've been cutting down the calories by substituting half"
