"This was good but not enough spice. I thought with all the spices that it would really have good flavor but it still needed more. I added some adobo and it was better. I would leave out the allspice as it gave it a strange flavor. I did fry them which is the only way to go. ""

"Oh Paula! Best fried chicken in the world! Folks the house seasoning is to be made and kept for future recipes! Don't pour a whole cup of salt on the chicken! I had adobo seasoning on hand and used that. Basically the same spices and it was still yummy! Mmm mmm good!

"I didn't eat this because I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes. I made it for Thanksgiving because my husband loves sweet potatoes. I used canned yams and used only half the amount of water suggested per other users reviews and they were a hit! My daughter and hubby gobbled them up! Kinda wish I did eat them ;-(

"We loved the flavor of these popovers. They were a bit dense and more like a muffin than a popover which is lighter and fluffy. Maybe next time I will add a little baking soda?? Still loved them!
