Reviewed Pat's Beer Can Grilled Chicken

"Amazing as always! Thanks Pat! Very flavorful and super moist. I did alter the recipe a bit. I used 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper instead of 1 tablespoon. I also added KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce about 5 minutes before I took the chicken off the grill. My 3 year old, who doesn't like chicken wolfed it down. I cannot wait to make this easy recipe again."

Reviewed Jamie's Coconut Cake

"Great Cake! I read some of the reviews & have some additional thoughts. For those that say the cake was dry: Follow the directions exactly. It says to cream the butter & sugar for 8-10 minutes. Do it! Don't take short cuts. As for the self rising flour, I used AP, but added 1 1/2 tbls baking powder & 1 1/2 tsp salt. Also, you're baking 3 cakes at once, so you'll want to rotate your pans. I rotated the pans once every 8 minutes and only needed to bake for 25 minutes to get perfect cakes. Be sure to cool the cakes in the pan. The sour cream filling really added an extra zing to the cake. I had extra coconut milk, so I used that instead of regular milk. The frosting was actually very simple. I think 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla is a little excessive and will try less next time. Additionally the frosting is a bit sweet, but what frosting isn't? Overall, it was a fairly easy cake to make; the key is to follow the directions. The result was perfect and incredibly delicious.

Reviewed Roasted Butternut Squash Soup and Curry Condiments

"Fantastic soup for the squash hater! It's very easy and the kids loved it! I have made it three times in a two week period. I didn't make any of the condiments; instead, I just served it with some rustic bread. I cannot wait to make it again.

Reviewed Company Pot Roast

"Amazing and Simple! Just follow the recipe and your family and friends will be utterly amazed. My picky 6 year old loved it too, which is a feat unto itself. I even used the left over roast and sauce, mixed with a bit of rue, some additional veggies, and rolled biscuits to make an awesome Beef Pot Pie. I will most definitely make this again.
