"I made it for the Holidays and I think for one thing I don't remember useing eggs, but I may have. Also I think it might be necessary to use the correct variety of apples (which I did not do due to the lack a variety at my local supermarket).
I found mine to be very over powering, not bad but very much an aquired taste. I will try it again w/ the correct apples and perhapes a milder ale, and I might try playing with the wine. I tried the Medira stright and really did not like it as a wine."

Reviewed Roast Duck with Oyster Dressing
"I hosted a christmas party last year and along with my turkey, I did the duck. From a critic who eats fresh hunted duck all the time, I was told it was the best they ever had, (And that was a real compliment from this perso who does not give out compliments easily.)
The only change was that since I used a old family recipie for Oyster Stuffing for my turkey I did a bed of corn bread stuffing with the duck and it came out awesome. "

"I am actually a bit bummed- I think the recipe is a great one don't get me wrong, but the link I took to get to it was for the Main Dish Challenge and I really wanted the Roast Turkey Dinner that was posted on the shows overview. Food Network can you update the link to let me get the recipe advertised?

"OMG- we opted to do it for Christmas this year because we had way too much food for Thanksgiving, so the night before Christmas eve I set to making it. By accident I added the butter that was supposed to go into the crust into the batter, and I think it added a certain richness to the flavor. Also because my mom hates cloves I substituted the Gingersnap crust for a home made gram cracker one and dusted half of the finished cake with home made gingerbread cookie crumbs for anyone who wanted it with the ginger. It was so hard not to sneak tastes while i was cooking the cake. It looks gorgeous, smells wonderful and I hope it goes over well at the Table on Saturday!!!
