This was a big hit, I only had my husband favorite bar be que sauce and a couple of duck sauce packets and that is what I use to paint these gems with. Just be sure to prepare these just before baking. Make sure you use a rack so all the bacon fat can drain and become super crispy. Thanks to Ree everyone was licking their fingers! Happy New Year...

This was perfect after a long night at soccer practice, I made this dish in the morning, used a 7 blade steak which came out delicious, so tender and moist and only used the juice of the peppers since my husband doesn't like peppers of any kind, the juice gives it a nice flavor, he had no clue. This was superb! The flavors and crispy crust was outstanding. We made it with skim milk and lactose free cheese and still came out great!
