Reviewed Buttermilk Baked Chicken

"The chicken came out nice and juicy inside and cruchy on the outside. All the flavors were great, except that I thought the cheese mixed into the breading was overpowering. I think it muted the other flavors, and -- for me -- just didn't work. If I make this recipe again, I'll leave the cheese out."

Reviewed Pizza Sauce

"The fresh tomato flavor of this sauce gives it that something that's missing in store-bought sauce. I used Cento tomatoes and added some oregano. It was fabulous on our pizza... and so simple and quick to make. Definitely a keeper!"

Reviewed German Chocolate Cake - Make My Cake

"Delicious! The cake was moist, the filling was incredibly rich, and the fudgy frosting (the Throwdown Cookbook has a suggested recipe) gave it a great balance. I'm guessing the reviewers who ended up with too much batter were using 8-inch cake pans. The recipe calls for 9-inch round pans, and I had the perfect amount of batter for the two pans."
