"These cookies are amazing! You get the best oatmeal cookie and the best chocolate chip cookie you've ever tasted all in one. The cinnamon is very pronounced and the salt just takes it over the top. 3 dozen cookies is a lot so I froze them. I take them out a few at a time and they taste just as good as the first day. My chocolate chip cookie freak""
Reviewed Seared Duck Breast with Grape Sauce
"Outrageous! It is as good or probably better than any we've had in a restaurant or cooked at home. The slow cooking created the most beautiful crispy skin and the grape sauce was just to die for!""
"This is one of the best salads I've ever tasted! It has the most beautiful combination of flavors and textures. It's tart, sweet, crunchy and the cheese is wonderful. I served it before dinner but it would make a great after main course salad as well.""
"Wow, delish! The hens were so moist and the slight tang of the pomegranate molasses was perfect. It's also a beautiful presentation with little effort."
"I have made profiteroles from recipes using all milk and ones using half milk and half water. I was apprehensive about this one using all water thinking they would not have enough flavor. Since I have had so much success with Anne's other recipes I decided to give it a try. They have just as much flavor and are far lighter than ones made with milk. I also think they rose higher.
Reviewed Braised Country-Style Pork Ribs
"Great recipe, the sauce is so rich and flavorful. We also loved the polenta, it was such a good idea to finish it in the slow cooker.
Reviewed Shrimp with Garlic and Olive Oil
"This recipe is so easy and simple and has so few ingredients, it's hard to believe it has so much flavor! I really wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The best part is sopping the bread in the olive oil. I used a bag of large frozen shrimp, cooked it and served it in a small cast iron skillet. We had it for a main course along with sauteed spinach and crusty bread, wow!
Reviewed Mascarpone Cheesecake
"Amazing recipe! I think it's better than Giada's "mascarpone cheesecake with almond crust" (which we also loved). The crust is outstanding. The orange zest and almond extract are just delicious!
