Easy and delicious....doubled the recipe and let it cook for an extra 30 minutes. It was nice and thick, added extra chicken broth for extra gravy. Chive dumplings rock!!!""

Used advice from reading reviews and made a few changes, and this dish was absolutely delish! Did not cook cauliflower, just threw it in the casserole dish. Also used an aged wisconsin white cheddar cheese in place of gruyere. Love the Barefoot Contessa! ""

Made them by the recipe the first time, except used brown sugar and pecans...they were awesome but a little too sweet. Tweeked them the second time around. Cut the brown sugar to 1 cup, cut the butter to 1 stick and cut the flour by 1/4 cup...they were still delicious and slightly healthier, if possible ?!""
