My Activity

Reviewed Onion Dip from Scratch

"What an amazing dip! It was finished after one meal! I added green onions to the mix and added more spices, and used a lot less mayonnaise. This was the exact recipe I was looking for! I have never made a dip from scratch before and now I'm looking forward to making it again."

Reviewed Orange or Pineapple Sorbet

"This recipe actually worked out quite well. I was worried about not having enough orange juice, but it ended up beautiful. It tasted fantastic! (I also added about a third cup od lemon juice). I would love to find a good recipe for an apple sorbet!"

About Me

I have found that I have a passion for food. I love to watch how the expressions of people's face melt into joy as they taste my cooking. I come from a Brazilian and Italian family, which leaves me with plenty of traditional dishes that I can put my own spin on.There's always room to improve, and what better way than experimenting in the kitchen? I have a lot left to learn, but I have found that even the simplest meals can improve someone's day.

Favorite Foods

Honestly, I love anything having to do with seafood! It could be a salad, a soup, appetizer, main course, or even just a flavor. The soft yet chewy texture of any fish or clam can add a little zest to any occasion. Mixed or alone, this incredible food can liven my day perfectly every time.

Surprisingly, another one of my favorite foods is the apple. This wonderfully simple item can create infnite possibilities in the kitchen! Desserts, spreads, and even main courses  can really bring out the true taste of the apple; which can be different yet familiar every time.

I also love ravioli. What more needs to be said? A soft, buttery pocket bursting with ricotta cheese and spinach, with just the right touch of parmesan. Gently coated with a variety of herbs and a soft touch of home, and accompanied with a gorgeously seasoned vegatable mix, you'll have me impatiently waiting to be served.
