"I adore the Barefoot Contessa, but this recipe failed to please. There is way too much salt specified in the recipe. Also, it is not a sensible use of lobster meat, which is delicate tasting and expensive. Far better, if you are going to buy lobster, to just eat it alone with a little butter; this recipe drowns out its flavor. I'm going to retry the recipe soon (despite my family asking me not to!), but this time cut way back on the salt and just use the halibut (or any other white fish) and mini shrimp instead. Top marks, though for the gratin topping - delicious and original!
