"Feeding an army" is a VERY, very old phrase in our American culture. It is clearly meant in reference to feeding a large crowd of people or even a mother who has 12 children to cook for, to her, it is like "feeding an army". It has never been used in disrespect to our citizens who serve and protect us.

Reviewed Pasta, Pesto, and Peas

I've made this twice now. This recipe is EXCELLENT! I received rave reviews both times I've served it. Both times were big potluck dinners. This is great for a potluck because it makes so much. The first time I made the pesto from scratch following the recipe. I do think the pesto recipe has a little too much EVOO in it, but it was still excelle...
