Reviewed Waffle of Insane Greatness
"Pretty good and easy, but you definitely need to spray the waffle iron before using it. I lost my first batch I made on my Waring Pro maker because they were stuck too bad. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly"
Reviewed Chewy Sugar Cookies
"came out perfect, uniform, and consistent. so easy and enjoyable!"
Reviewed Oven-Roasted Turkey
"Great turkey.... kept its flavor when the skin was taken off. I didn't marinate it overnight - missed this step! - but it still came out wonderfully. Highly recommend!"
Reviewed Beef Stew
"So good! To save time, I used a pre-made Creole seasoning. I accidentally threw the seasoning in the crockpot instead of seasoning the meat prior to browning it and it was fine. I also accidentally threw the peas in at the beginning - which also was fine. My husband doesn't like pearl onions so I chopped a regular onion and added it at the begi"
Reviewed Mac and Cheese
"ehh i wasn't a total fan, although my guests were. i think i might just not like the taste of gruyere - i like a cheesier cheddar taste to my mac and cheese. it was very mild and there seemed to be a ton of breadcrumbs on it which didn't add much to the dish. consistency wise it was good, and cooked nicely, i just wasn't a big fan of the flavor."
Reviewed Honey Cornbread Muffins
"these cornbread muffins are good enough to be a staple in any household. i have been looking for a basic but tasty cornbread recipe for a long time now, and i am filing this in my recipe book for sure. they were extremely easy to make, baked evenly, and came out perfect. if anything, mine had to bake an extra two minutes or so, but i was very p"
Reviewed Pat's Famous Beef and Pork Chili
"Excellent recipe. I made this the night before a football party and was able to cool it and store it in my fridge in the Dutch Oven I made it in... come party time I just threw it back on the stove to reheat. My husband said it was better the second day! It thickened up nice and had a great consistency. Ingredients were cheap and easy to find, "
Reviewed Balsamic Chicken with Baby Spinach
"Excellent! I used diced tomatos in tomato sauce instead of lower sodium ones and the taste was great. The tomatoes soaked up the vinegar nicely and it had such a wonderful flavor. My only problem was cooking the garlic with the chicken - the garlic began to get too brown and I threw it out and supplemented some garlic powder instead. I definitely would take the garlic out when the chicken goes in and then throw it back in at the end!"
