"This recipe was so delicious! I used chicken breast, canned diced tomatoes and a spice set for Tikki Masala. My local supermarket didn't have garam masala nor the ingredients to make my own. The spice set however did include paprika, cumin, red pepper flakes, garam masala, and minced garlic. I used ground ginger and garlic powder instead of fresh. I'm not a garlic fan at all but it worked in the dish. Instead of the water, I used the leftover tomato juice and enough water to make 1 cup. I also tried my baked chicken before putting in the sauce and it was delicious with the yogurt marinade by itself! Overall I found the dish to be full of flavor and it makes an incredible meal when paired with basmati rice!
I enjoy cooking for all of my family and friends. Cooking helps me relax, keeps me focused, and lets me explore new things without even leaving my home! I tend to have what I call "rotating food interests." I will focus on one particular food and try it in a variety of ways before moving on to the next food. I follow recipes until I'm comfortable enough to branch out with my ideas.
I love pasta, tomato-based dishes, and mexican food. I usually bake desserts to give away to friends and family. I've recently become very interested in Indian food. Its just so flavorful!
