These were really great and easy to make. It was my first time making lemon bars and they came out perfectly. The funny things is they really do need to set overnight (I kept mine in the fridge). They tasted twice as good in the morning! Everyone who tried these went nuts for them. Next time I will add some lemon zest to the batter."

So this is a really INVOLVED recipe, and you need the right pan (mistake I won't be making again), but overall it turned out really delicious. The pecan/rum sauce is addictive and teh dough was perfect. This recipe has been a huge hit with family, friends and coworkers. I follow it EXACTLY and the rugelach always come out delicious. I have tried subbing choc chips and strawberry jam for kiddies and that works well also. But nothing beats the original! Thanks Ina!"
