My Activity

Reviewed Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes

"This recipe is FANTASTIC! I make it once or twice a week, and never grow tired of it! I only make a few slight changes: I keep the olive oil to 2 Tablespoons, but increase the honey to 3 Tablespoons. I also lightly dust with cinnamon before putting them in the oven. So Good! "

Reviewed Unfried Chicken

"I was trying to find a great recipe for mock fried chicken for a diabetic family member. I went as far as to try to trick him into thinking this was the "real deal". He took ONE bite and said, "All I can taste is cornflakes!" So he took off the breading and just ate the chicken thighs. I won't be making this recipe again!"

Reviewed Mini Turkey Meatballs

"These are so fantastic! The first time I made these meatballs they fell apart too easily. The second time I made these, I grated the onion in the large mixing bowl first, then squeezed most of the excess onion liquid out. After adding the rest of the ingredients, they stayed together quite well, while still being moist! Very Very Tasty, THANK YOU "

Reviewed Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuits

"Oh my word...These are the BEST biscuits I have ever made [and probably had!] I did cut the salt down to a teaspoon, and sprinkled the tops lightly with salt. They were perfectly done after 20 minutes. These biscuits are flakey and fantastic...my new go-to recipe. Thanks Ina!!"

Reviewed Grandgirl's Fresh Apple Cake from Georgia

"This cake is very good, but it is VERY sweet. With all of the sugar in the cake, and the additional sugar in the glaze, it was a little too much. With that being said, with the sugar adjusted, I could certainly see making this many times in the future! I cut the ingredients in half and baked it in a loaf pan for about 1 hour 15 minutes, which turn"

Reviewed Zucchini Parmesan Crisps

"These are fantastic! Very quick and easy, and just like fried zucchini, without the guilt! I add a little extra salt and pepper for more taste, as well as seasoned breadcrumbs. Watch the baking time though...I find mine are done in about 10-12 minutes. They burn quickly if left in too long, and believe me, 25-30 is an absurd amount of time for the"

Reviewed Soy Glazed Green Beans

"Oh my word, these are AMAZING!! I was shocked how something so simple and easy could taste SO great. I'm only sorry I did not make more!"

Reviewed Roasted Pears with Blue Cheese

"Oh my WORD, this is sooooo GOOD!! I made this tonight and it was such a hit! Could easily be used as a fancy first course, or a meal all in itself. Very filling without the heavy feel. I sprinkled just a dusting of cinnamon on the pears right before going into the oven, and I thought the pears had a fantastic taste. This reminds me of a fall eveni"
