My Activity

Reviewed Easy Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Croutons

"Made this tonight for dinner and it was really delicious. I didn't have saffron so I used about a 1/4 tsp of tumeric instead, and I added a little sugar, about 1 tbs. I also made little grilled cheese sandwiches as I don't have a panini press. Will be making this again. Also I skipped the added step of cooking the orzo and just put it in with the "

Reviewed Roasted Cheddar Broccoli

"All I have to say was this was great and so easy to make. I didn't have sharp cheddar so I used some Havarti and some white cheddar instead and it was delicious. I lined the baking sheet with foil to make clean up easier and got the added bonus of cheese crisps where the cheese had melted onto the foil! Will certainly make this again."

Reviewed Caramel Apple Cake

"Cake turned out very good, moist and had a lot of flavor. However I found the batter to be way too thick so I added about half a cup of half and half, made it more workable. Before that it was almost like bread dough and unable to spread evenly between layers, and yes I did follow the recipe exactly except for the spices. I did not have the premixed"

Reviewed Roasted Pepper, Scallion and Sausage Quiche

"Love this recipe from mix and match quiches! I made this using portabella mushrooms, scallions, and spinach. I used oregano and dill for seasoning and a mix of fontina and white and yellow cheddar cheeses. What makes this so wonderful is the crust! Pre-baking makes the crust stay crispy even the next day, if it lasts that long! Its an extra step b"

Reviewed Pineapple Casserole

"Went great with the ham at Easter dinner. Half of my guests were Jewish and keeping Passover so I made this with 3 tablespoons potato starch instead of flour and for the topping used matzo crackers instead of Ritz. I also decreased the sugar to 3/4 cup, half brown and half white, and only used 2 tablespoons melted butter and 2 tablespoons juice for""

Reviewed Perfect Glazed Ham

"Truly was the perfect glazed ham. Very easy to make and came out looking just like the picture. I used a whole semi-boneless ham and just added 10 minutes to each stage to adjust for the size. Followed everything else exactly, everyone loved it. I will never make a spiral cut ham again. Thanks Food Network!""

Reviewed Asparagus and Cheese Tart

"Made this yesterday for my husband and I and we both loved it. I used different cheeses as I didn't want to make another trip to the store. I used Asiago, Garlic and Dill Cheddar and Queso Blanco and it was fabulous. Beautiful presentation but kind of difficult to cut with a knife, I used a pizza cutter and that worked ok, but next time I might c""
