I cut this recipe in half because the 1st time I made it, it made A LOT! I agree with others that the half & half needs to be about 4 1/2 cups but other than that this is SOO good!!

I made this for coworkers and it was by far the favorite. The depth of flavor is amazing and the icing just makes this cupcake!"

I'm giving this 4 stars however the icing recipe needs adjustments. First you need a CUP of butter (2 sticks). So I only used 4 cups of powder"

I am so disappointed in this recipe and can't believe it was a winner. Mine didn't rise at all and sunk in after I took them out. They are also very spongy. I'm with IcaRapp, I won't serve this to anyone. They have good flavor but, SO DISAPPOINTED! "

Very good! Loved them and so did my co-works. Someone please tell me why she insists on using 3/4 of a pound of butter! It's easier to say 1 & 1/2 sticks of butter!!""
