"I never liked Swiss Steak as a kid, but this recipe is delicious!!!!! I've made it 5 or 6 times over the past couple of years & my kids like it too! I like to "tone it down" a little by sticking to the recipe, but adding about 1/2 lb. more beef along with 1/4 C more broth to keep it covered.

My favorite time is grilling full meals around our pool in the summer, but country dutch oven meals or cast iron wok oriental recipes in the cold winter months are just as pleasing - you just can't beat the flavor from cast iron!. Now, with a new smoker, I'm experimenting even more. I love good food and making new dishes for my family - even if it takes all day. I enjoy the rare times when I have "all day" to try something new!!!
