About Me
Cooking is cathartic for me and I need a creative outlet from my everyday job as an investigator! My passion for cooking and baking border on obsessive and my grown children and husband definitely inspire me. I even travel to experience other methods and ideas for creating and love the knowledge from others. You're never to old to learn from anyone!!
Aside from the cooking, my husband and I race cars at VIR or any other road course around the country - it's quite the adrenaline rush!
Favorite Foods
What I'm famous for in my family would be my Boston Cream Pie, Bowtie Pasta with 3 Peppers and Cream sauce, Chicken Cordon Bleu (which was served at this year's Christmas dinner!) and my grandmother's banana chocolate chip bread!
My favorite restaurant here in Va. Beach would be Il Giordino's (THE best Veal Parm in the world-a veal chop pounded thin, lightly breaded and so tender that you can cut it with a fork!) I also enjoy 13 Goebbe in Montefollonico, Italy!

"This is my brother Dan's recipe for chili and I have to say it's one of the best chili's that my husband and I have ever had! Dan has tweaked the recipe so many times without writing it down, that we finally pinned him down to write it all out! Any meats will do but this one has Chicken and two kinds of sausage; but you can also add pork or beef...."
