Jul 7, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

We don't each much sugar in our home so making a pie was not a normal event. This was excellent. Walla Walla Sweets are in season now so I used them. Made this is a very deep dish, probably equal to two pies. Put some parmesan cheese in the pie and then topped with parmesan for the last 15 minutes of baking. Mine had to be in the oven for "

Really good alternative to the real thing. If I had to rate it next to the true guacamole, would give it a 3 but for the low fat factor, give it a 10. Spouse is still eating and I haven't said a word. "

Reviewed Crispy Kale "Chips"

Needed to increase our fiber and reduce high fat foods. This really hits the spot. It was a great compromise for crispy high calorie foods. Would never eat kale before this and will now make as a great snack food. We just ate them straight out of oven. No need for dipping sauce. ""

Excellent taste. Have not made anything using these combination of spices but will certainly make this again. Used less water too. Also, put this over lettuce for one meal and by itself for another. Great change for us. ""

Really flavorful. Just think a soup that looks like a cream soup with no points! Made me using vegitables I had never used before. The roasting really did the trick. Anything with roasted garlic is great but this was very good. Ate it without the cheese croutons. Crackers would have completed this dish. "

Excellent dish. The panko topping really made the difference. The flavors were outstanding. Followed the recipe using a rotisserie chicken from Costco with whole wheat noddels. Will certainly make again. "
