"Excellent recipe for what is probably the best soup I've ever made or tasted. You can increase the celery and carrots to taste, but do not omit the the black cabbage (lacinato kale). It adds such depth of flavor to the broth that anyone who tastes it is shocked to discover that there is no meat - or even cheese - in the soup. Make a huge batch -"

"This recipe is seriously flawed: incorrect ingredient amounts, lack of specifics, insufficient cooking time. I had to doctor this recipe quite a bit to avoid throwing a whole dinner in the trash. Removed the squid after 30 mins, added additional tomatoes and their juice, cooked until the potatoes were tender, reduced the sauce by at least 2/3 an"
