Reviewed L.O.V.E. Wrap Sandwich (Lettuce, Onion, Vegetable, Egg Salad

Loved this! So much better than a basic egg salad although I love those too. I thought it was great, tasty and healthy. Wasn't sure that quantity of mayo would do it but it was fine. Thanks Ellie!

Just made this for dinner. It was excellent!! I will definitely be making this one again. We ate it warm with some brown basmati rice. I was amazed at how much flavor it had. Was hesitant to use the whole lemon's worth of peel diced but wound up adding it all to the mix. I thought it was delicious, not bitter at all. Try it, you won't be disappointed....

Reviewed Gingerbread Cookies for the Holidays

These were good but not a traditional gingerbread cookie. For me they had too much orange flavor which overpowered the spices. My dough was sticky but I chilled it first and then used plenty of flour on my board and rolling pin and it was fine to work with. I won't be making these again though because the citrus threw the flavor off. I made Marion...

Excellent! We loved them, perhaps the best fish taco I've ever had. I marinated the fish for several hours and didn't use tequila. Instead I added a bit of olive oil and juiced the limes as the liquid. Didn't make the crema, just used sour cream with some chipotle added. Trader Joes sells tortillas made from fresh corn rather than corn flour so we...

I had only tried brussel sprouts 2 other times in my life and hated them. Then saw some fresh burssel sprouts still on the plant and decided I would try this recipe & see if there was any way I could like them. The other times I tried them they were frozen. I made this for company and most guest hadn't tried them either. We all LOVED them! Ate a ton...

Reviewed Pork-and-Pumpkin Chili

Oct 4, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Just made this tonight and we really didn't love it. First of all, it was too salty! Recipe calls for 4 teaspoons of salt and I would cut that in half. There are 2t in the pork portion and 2t in the vegetable portion, way too salty. It was a bit spicy for us too and I only used 2 chipotles and a yellow pepper, nothing too spicy. Would cut down on...
