About Me

My name by my friends"DebbieDoodles"Debbie Wise...I work in a family owned grocery store and absolutely love people and go out of my way to help them.  My hubby and I are a blended family and it is a long story and hope that sometime you might want to hear it...just don't know how much spaace for sure I have on here.  Anyway...we have 7 beautiful children and 9 little poopsy grandchildren...they are our hearts!  Two of them are identical boys that just turned 1 in August on the 12th.  Can hardly wait for you to see pics of us all.  Love to cook and am a pleaser of people and am always looking for more recipes...you guys have it all and you can't ask for better!  Made Paula Deen's braised shrimp and grits last night and my Hubby was so happy...he wants it again and soon!  Tonight I had extra raw shrimp left and made Paula's beer batter shrimp...oh my goodness...we ate em all and that means we each at 20 shrimp apiece...oooopsy poopsy!  Okay...gues I have a tad of time...some of our life...just a tad...

Tim lost his wife and 2 children in a house fire in 1995...one son was at colledge and the other one had a bedroom down in the basement area and servived along with thier doggy, Tippy.  Just that prior year my Husband died at 39 of a heart attack in front of our children...they new where Daddy went...not easy but with the Lords help we all got through and God restored us and Tim and I met and fell in love and we became a beautiful blended family that love the Lord and you fit in there too, Paul!  lol!  Don't know what else to write, but our hope is that one day we can meet you and maybe do something together in the food area...I do a good stuffed shrimp...it is raved about here and even my bosses love it and would like it at our Christmase's get togetheres...etc.  I make an apple pie my kids and hubby rave about...didn't realize it was so special...but now I continue to get requests for it...that helps to get me baking...haha!  Yep...love a chance to even hug you and have a special time making something together...love you Paul and many of you at the Food Network...hugs!

Favorite Foods

Our favorite foods are seafoods, braised shrimp with grits, tempura shrimp, beer batter shrimp, beerbattered fish, country fried chicken and biscuits and gravy, red velvet cake, moist salmon dishes, and one big favorite that we had at a "famous camp" up here...(darn...lost my thought...oops)...anyway they made "Shrimp Seviche" and all I can remember that it had huge shrimp, olive oil, lime, corriander, peppercorn, tad of salt...etc...it cooked in its juices and was it ever grand...I can still taste it...would love it so bad again.  We also love Sushi, tempura anything, lemon chicken in a batter with a thick lemon sauce...oh so good!  Actually...there is not much we do not like...haha!
