My Activity

Reviewed Roasted Salmon with Shallot Grapefruit Sauce

"This is an amazing dish! The flavors are layered, yet blend very well. I would give this 6 stars if I could! A sidenote: make sure grapefruit is in season when you try this. I think it would make all the difference if the grapefruit wasn't at its peak sweetness. This is my No. 1 winter dish!"

Reviewed Roasted Shrimp with Feta

"This was an amazing dish and really quick and easy. The only I will change is to double everything but the shrimp. I was licking my plate craving more of the tomato and fennel! I did not use the pernod, so I think the flavors were softer. Next time, I am going to bump up the tomato paste and maybe do the kalamata olives as suggested by someone els"

Reviewed Butter Lettuce Salad with Gorgonzola and Pear Dressing

"I used dried cherries and roasted walnuts for this salad. My husband loved the wedge, but we didn't find the dressing to be very flavorful. Reviewed Poppy Seed-Chicken Pitas

"I used the breast meat from a rotisserie chicken and while it was still hot, I shredded it and let some orange zest soak while I prepared the other ingredients. It worked beautifully. I used my chopper to really get the celery "near" minced. I used a bit more dijon mustard and I used the Greek yogurt. Other ingredigents used were honey-roasted sli"

Reviewed Basil-Walnut Pesto and Tomato on a Baguette

"Very, very tasty. I didn't use as much oil either and it turned out great. I have served it at two parties so far and everyone raves about it. The walnuts give stronger flavor than pine nuts for me. "

Reviewed Crunchy Sweet Brussels Sprout Salad

"Super tasty... made it for my girlfriends (who both disliked brussel sprouts and don't cook). They loved this and asked for the recipe! I omitted the nutmeg altogether, but I don't mind the slightly
"bitter" taste to it. Sunny has another recipe for parsnips (Holiday Parsnip Puree) that called for nutmeg, and I really liked that. ""

Reviewed Parsnip Puree

"This is such a quick and easy recipe ...not to mention tasty. My husband thought they were mashed potatoes and completely loved them. I did use soy milk and half the butter. They were super creamy!""
