My Activity

Reviewed Sugar and Nut Glazed Brie

"I have made this recipe both with the macadamias and with pecans. Our family and friends love this."

Reviewed Pumpkin Soup with Chili Cran-Apple Relish

"I made this for Thanksgiving in 2010 and 2011. It is really excellent. Be sure to also make the relish, it adds so much extra flavor and complexity to an already wonderful soup."

Reviewed Creole Style Tomato Soup with Goat Cheese Dumplings

"I have made the soup, but not the dumplings. My husband hates goat cheese and making the dumplings adds to the time to prepare the soup. I think this soup has great depth of flavor. I am just now reviewing a recipe I have made multiple times over the last several years. I have made it with canned and with fresh tomatoes, both ways are excellent"

Reviewed German Potato Salad

"Way to much sugar! I made this recipe exactly, and there was too much sugar vs. vinegar. I will try it again with 1/2 the amount of sugar. I looked at a lot of other recipes for German Potato Salad after I had this failure, and they have 1 1/2 t. or just slightly more. This was a failure for me. Sorry.

Reviewed Homemade Mini Corn Dogs

"I don't fry very much, but decided to try this recipe today because my grandchildren love corn dogs. I have decided to invest in an electric fryer--these corn dogs are really good. I used soaked toothpicks because my skewers were too long. I will buy some skewers of the appropriate size and make these many times in the future, I'm sure. To one of the previous reviewers, they said on the show that the cornstarch was used to help keep the batter on the dog. Thanks once again, Paula and family for another great recipe!
