This is a very very good base recipe. The ribs came out perfectly, the meet came away clean, and the fat floated away. Definitly has a resteraunt style base with a few key ingredients requiring some adjustments next time. I added two bay leaves to the simmering pot. I think ill add more tyme next time. Delicious! I made this recipe for Valentines Day. Spread the batter onto a half sheet pan, then used a 4" heart shaped cookie cutter to make heart shaped cakes. Then stacked them to make three layers, with the frosting in between the layers. Then topped it with grenache...Oh my! My family loved the look and the taste was out of this world! Thanks...
