What beautiful flavor from humble ingredients. Make it! I added 2 carrots and used 1/2 c lentils as I do not like the "muddy" flavor they can have. I also added a red jalapeno to the boiled part. The soup needs to be balanced at the end for sweet, sour, salt and heat (chilis). Everyone in my family groans at the no-meat options, but this was eaten...
