My Activity
Reviewed Herb Roasted Potatoes
"I tried this recipe tonight for the first time and found it quite simple and satisfying. Anne is not lying when she says to go big on the olive oil and the salt; when I tasted my end result, I felt like I was sampling my own efforts on "Worst Cooks in America" and could almost feel the look from her for not being liberal enough on my seasoning. "
Reviewed Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf
"I mentioned to a friend of mine that I was attempting this recipe; he quickly shot back that it was his opinion Paula regularly tried to kill her audience with the sheer splendor of fat and calories in some of her recipes. While I don't think there's any malicious intent from Paula in this recipe, I did find it extremely heavy and exceptionally greasy. I followed the recipe to the letter, except I used ground sirloin instead of ground chuck.
I found the meatloaf good, but it's not something I'll ever have to make again. And frankly, the grease congealed in the bottom of the meatloaf pan gave me pause when I looked at it for sandwiches the next day. Still, it did make for a decent sandwich."
About Me
I like the idea of cooking, but it doesn't always translate to good results for me. When I worked at Williams-Sonoma and bought my 10pc All-Clad LTD set, my manager asked me a week later how I liked it so far; I told her my Hamburger Helper had never tasted better. She blanched. I wasn't kidding.
