"Amazing lemon, moist CAKE-LIKE cookie, very much like a madeline! I use the zest of 2 lemons for the mix and the zest of 2 lemons for the glaze. Everyone loves these cookies! They also freeze extremely well once the frosting has hardened. I will always have a couple dozen in the freezer. You can also substitute the lemon juice & lemon zest for""

"Outstanding & so easy to make. Recipe was perfect. Better to use fresh blueberries, not frozen! I also tried this recipe using dried cranberries & orange zest (instead of blueberries & lemon zest, they were equally outstanding!! I give them both "10 stars"!

"Amazing lemon, moist CAKE-LINE cookie, very much like a madeline! I use the zest of 2 lemons for the mix and the zest of 2 lemons for the glaze. Everyone loves these cookies! They also freeze extremely well once the frosting has hardened. I will always have a couple dozen in the freezer. You can also substitute the lemon juice & lemon zest for orange juice and orange zest. Very nice, soft and refreshing cookie. Be careful not to over bake because they will harden. I have to bake mine @ 375 for 22 minutes. My edges will not brown but the bottom of the cookies will be a light brown. I've had my oven tested and the temperature is correct. Make sure all of your ingredients are at ROOM TEMPERATURE. Also, you need to make 1 & 1/2 times the frosting recipe to cover all of the cookies, if you like the frosting thick.

About Me

I love to cook & bake in massive quantities.  I experiment a lot, some things turn out great and some, well, we won't talk about those disasters.  I especially love baking with real ingredients: real chocolate (not the supermarket chips), real lemon juice, fresh blueberries, real vanilla, you won't find any "Imitation" in my cabinets.  I have 2 stoves (11 burners total) and 3 ovens, if I had my way I'd have all of them on full burner 7 days a week......that's how much I love to cook & bake.

Favorite Foods

I'm famous for Bobby Flays 2" thick marinated, stuffed & broiled veal chops, my boiled in marinade baby back ribs, Giada's lemincello cheesecake, my pork roast made with crushed thyme, rosemary & sage, my pepper steak & white rice recipe from Southern Living, homemade brownies, cookies & cakes & so many other wonderful things.  I love to try new recipes all the time!
