Have no idea why I waited so long to make this but I finally did. Am I glad I did. It was absolutely delicious - exactly fretting, a tiny bit spicy, and easy and fast to make. I love Mangos and Ahi and putting the two together - what a meal. Love Ina!

Surprisingly after all these years I had never made this dish, but finally made it for a group of 6 in Palm Desert. Turned out delicious! Followed the recipe exactly (except couldn't find Brioche so substituted Challah). Wonderful! Another A+ recipe from Ina!"

I have made these a few times and I have to admit, I tend to overbake - and the result is very dry and dense cupcakes. I (finally) made this recipe but did 2.5 pound filet and after letting it sit out on the counter to get the chill off I roasted for 22 minutes, it actually cooked perfectly for medium rare. And the Gorgonzola sauce I made of hers to accompany it was the perfect pairing. Another amazing Ina meal!!!"
