My Activity

Reviewed Drunken Penne Pasta

"This was so quick and easy to make and very tasty! It is probably one of the few restaurant-quality recipes I have actually made with success!! I used white wine instead of vodka, beef broth instead of chicken broth and bacon instead of prosciutto. This will be one of my go-to favourites for a quick weeknight dinner."

Reviewed Spaghetti Bolognese

"I was really impressed with this recipe. It didn't take a long time at all. I agree with some other reviewers that it needs more time to brown the meat before adding other ingredients. Also, I did halve the cinnamon and omitted the nutmeg, and forgot the beef stock, but the recipe turned out amazing anyway. I think the cream and butter adds some extra richness to the sauce. This will be my new go-to recipe for bolognese sauce and I will experiment with it each time I make it.

About Me

Starting to get interested in cooking, as I haven't experimented much.

Favorite Foods

Anything Italian - I make a good lasagna, both traditional and a "one-pot" version, but I love pad thai, anything with lots of vegetables and noodles and sauce. Not famous for any particular dish just yet, but hope to get there one day. I love this restaurant called "Moxie's" which has a couple of locations in the Toronto area, and a great menu!
