@Autumleaf: Really? I was scared how halved jalapenos would be. I didn't want a chili with 6 big jalapeno halves. Just curious because I love the flavor of this but want to do it like Bobby does!

Does anyone know if and when Bobby chops/purees/blends the veggies? After roasting the garlic, tomatillos, jalapenos, onions, and garlic I put them in a food processor. But I was surprised Bobby didn't spell that out and I was curious if he explained it. Does he leave everything as is and just wait for the tomatillos to break down in the oven aft...
