I am a "Lunchroom Lady" at my son's school. We have a blast! I am also a chef's assistant on the weekends. I also do small party catering. Any cookbook or magazine by Southern Living is my all time fave! Cooking is my passion and my pet peeve is someone who will claim they are a cook or even a chef and they do not have the passion for food! I would go live at Disney World for a month if I could!
Favorite Foods
I love to take classical southern dishes and give them a new twist. For example, pan sauted catfish with a fruit salsa...a lot healthier than the typical southern fried catfish with tartar sauce! My husband and son love my Southwestern pan seared steak with salsa which one day I will post here! I really don't enjoy eating out because I critique the whole time I am eating my meal!Advertisement
