Favorite Foods

Challah!! Okay, I admit that I love almost anything baked, especially yeast breads. But challah is one of my favorite things, and making it is the first thing I do on my favorite day of the week.

Borshch, varenyky, syrnyky, holubtsi and other Eastern European favorites. There is almost nothing more comforting than a juicy beef brisket paired with kasha and varnishkes.

I enjoy making simple cheeses at home and always search out new recipes.

I am looking for mandelbrot recipes, so please share if you have one. Our family recipe was never written down and is now lost forever, and I have been actively seeking a suitable replacement ever since. I've eaten so many mandelbrot, only to be disappointed when they fail to measure up to the memory of my grandmother's recipe. Help!
