"Decided to try these while stuck in the house for Hurricane Irene. Only had unsweetened chocolate in the house, but thanks to the handy dandy substitution chart in the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, I knew to add 1 Tbsp sugar for every ounce of chocolate. Reviewed Red Pork Posole with Pickled Onions and Queso Fresco

"O to the M to the G!!!

About Me

I live in the DC area and I love to cook. It is definitely my creative outlet. I like to start with a recipe tweak it to make it fabulous. I don't have a big family to cook for so I throw a lot of parties to try out new recipes, or just invite people over to eat. My friends are very willing guinea pigs.

Favorite Foods

I like to cook all kinds of things, I don't know if I have a favorite. I am most famous for my chili, fried fish, chicken enchiladas, and spinach dip. My love for cooking comes from my love of eating. I love food and I love to create delicious food and I don't feel guilty for throwing away something that doesn't taste good. Life is too short to eat anything I don't like. . .. what if that was my last meal ever?!?!?!

My least favorite food: Bell Peppers (YUCK)
