"I made this for the first time last week and was very happy with the results -- and definitely impressed my friends at the same time! It's clearly meant for a special occasion as it's time intensive -- but a real labor of love and very satisfying in the end. The extra time spent browning the veggies and meat really gives this such brilliant flavor and attitude. (And the house smelled amazing). WARNING: I did accidentally over salt -- and at the end cut chose to cut it with a lil sugar to balance it out. But I will definitely make this again for another special occasion, just with less salt next time. Love your show, Anne! Thanks for your many great recipes and awesome attitude in the kitchen!
