The directions for the frosting make a reference to add 'some of the milk,' but the assembly ingredients don't list any milk. Also, it should be noted in the cake directions to reserve 1 cup of the sugar for the glaze to be made later. And, does one put the top layer on glaze side up or down onto the pastry cream? Haven't made this yet. Giving...

I'm surprised of the amount of rise with that amount of salt. And the bread does taste salty. I also felt the bread was too dense and chewy, even though it was baked to an internal temp of 203F. I might try it again with less salt."
