Replied to Asian Hot Wings Recipe : Ree Drummond : Food Network

May 2, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

No Wanda B. Flouring the wings creates a completely different recipe. Ree does not use flour in her recipe during her show, which is exactly why you don't see that ingredient in the list, so she did not "forget". This technique is called "naked frying" where there is no dredging involved.

It's not fair to the chef and those who want to try this recipe just because YOU messed up. What kind of sense does that make????

Just because CPACook thought there was too much lemo, doesn't mean he/she needs to take cooking classes. Everyone has preferences. Don't be rude.

I flagged this person to hopefully have the review removed. It's not right to give a rating if that person hasn't even tried the recipe!

This nutmeg in this recipe was very over powering and made the dish more sweet rather than savory. I'm a lover of all cheeses, especially the stinky ones, so I just knew this would be a hit! I was very wrong. The mac and cheese completely lacked flavor. I had to throw this out. ALSO FYI PEOPLE DO NOT FOLLOW THE RECIPE ON THIS SITE, IT IS NOT THE S"

I had a very difficult tie accepting that this recipe was a miss because I tend to love Giada. The sauce lacked a lot of flavor. It was very bland, but my boyfriend was sweet and ate it anyway. I tried to even doctor up the leftovers, but there was so saving this dish. "

This was absolutely fantastic! I made this dish for my boyfriend, his mom, and his friends for game day dinner. The house filled with a wonderful smell when I roasted the tomatoes. I did peel the skin from the tomatoes after they roasted because I hate bits of it in my sauce. But that's an unnecessary step for those who don't mind. This was extrem"

Just made this last night for my sister because I was demonstrating to her that homemade is always better than store bought. I thought the taste was ok, but the texture was off putting and very grainy. Next time instead of cocoa powder, I'll use real bakers's chocolate."

I hope that Ina realizes this recipe is NOT Asian just because there is soy sauce. While preparing the dish was easy because of the few ingredients, they did not go well together at all. In fact the combination actually made me a bit nauseous. Miso paste, ginger, sake, soy, sesame oil..those ingredients would make a great ASIAN marinade. EVOO and "

I decided to bake the mac and cheese after making the sauce and incoroprating the noodles because that is how the dish is traditionally made. I was severely dissapointed to find that the mac and cheese was extremely dense and dry. There was not enough sauce at all. Also, the taste was very plain, even though I thoroughly seasoned the sauce. Will n"

Reviewed Mini Turkey Meatballs

May 20, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It is very easy for turkey meatballs to be dry, but these are so incredibly tender. My father is a "meat and potatoes" kind of man and would rather have ground beef than ground turkey. When I made these for him, he didn't even realize that I used ground turkey! And don't get me started on the tomato sauce. Easy, flavorful, and just plain deliciou...

This was a horrible recipe. I wish that I could give it 0 stars instead of 1. I know good bread pudding and this is not it. The bread was so incredibly soggy that a baby without teeth would be able to eat it. There was not enough sugar. The slight bitterness from the chocolate was the dominant flavor. I could not taste any of the cinnamon or the $"

I thought this recipe turned out nicely. It required more skill than I originally thought, but I still enjoyed it. My filling made 16 ravioli instead of 12 and next time, I think I'll try a butter sauce instead of a tomato based sauce. "

I really like the simplicity and the flavors of preparing this dish. I would suggest to get the salmon with the skin already removed so you won't have to do it yourself, unless you have a really sharp knife. I think the fish cooked for too ling, however, because mine was a bit dry when it came out of the oven. Other than that, great flavor! I will...

I think Giada did a number with this recipe. Instead of using 2 (10 ounce) packages of frozen spinach, I just used 1 (10 ounce) container of fresh spinach and incorporated it into the sauce. I served everything over al dente spaghetti. This recipe was very easy, fast, inexpensive, and most of all, DELICIOUS!!! I get my groceries from Shoppers, so...
