This was delicious!! Easy to make. Follow the directions exactly and you will have a superb dinner. It took a good 2 hours to bake at 350 until the meat probe read 150 degrees. Meat was tender, moist and perfectly cooked! "

Good stock, however, like the other reviews I too hate to waste a whole chicken, so I don't. I either shred the meat for my chicken pot pie, chicken salad or soup. But to throw away perfectly good tender meat is a waste of a life.""

I cut the brown sugar to 1 cup for the cake recipe and 1/3 for the topping and totally omitted the brown sugar glaze, frankly because it is just too much sugar. Also I used white whole wheat flour. A few modifications on my part, however, the cake was still good, a soft and tender cake that my family loved.""
