About Me

Let me start by saying, I was Born & raised in Brooklyn, New York. We Moved to South Florida, where I lived for over 30 years. And Now I again I moved. I now live in the beautiful state of Oregon! I love it's open spaces and friendly people, Not to mention the Landscape!

I do Love to cook, Having a Puerto Rico heritage, My food creations are mixed with a bit of this and a little of that... the flavors just blend to ahhhhhh Que RICO!!!  (Oh so good) per my family and friends!  I love to collect cookbooks, mainly those that are from years gone by, like "Grandma" used to cook and those that are great family hand me downs! I think I have over 500 books by now. And there is always one that catches my eye. I like to read them and as I do, my mind runs with the recipe to create my own.

I love Animals, having 4 dogs, 5 cats, 15 Chickens, 2 Geese, and 1 Turkey, not to mention 4 outside stray kittens which adopted us and we feed and have built a shelter for. I guess I am a sucker for Animals!! One reason WHY I moved here was its still IS farm land and I am able to have all of this because of the "Space" and all the love we have to share to them since we are empty nesters... and now have feathered or 4 legged kids!!

Wow, There is so much more to share, however, I do not which to bore you all! Ha Ha HA!!!
