"Too all who want to bash Alton's recipe...EVERY stove is different and every pan as well. As a cook, you should keep that in mind with anything you make. And, of course it's greasy and salty! It's fried chicken! On the first try, following the directions listed, my chicken turned out perfectly! I have finally found a recipe to come back to again and again.
