"Your mainframe is stupid. I'm trying to upload a recipe that calls for any kind of thin sliced beef steak. It makes me click upon a certain kind of Beef steak and then does not put it into my recipe. Uploading a recipe should not be such a pain in the butt! Cooking is not an exact science. You use different amounts of ingredients depending on taste..."

"(Schweinekoteletten mit senf oder meerrettich) A yummy braised German pork chop dish that is a perfect comfort food. It goes very well with mashed potatoes, red cabbage, a salad, and a good Reisling or Liebfraumilch. This is a dish you may find in a Continental restaurant."

"I learned this one from the head chef of a cajun restaurant. You can use any kind of sausage you want, I use a southern hickory smoked pork sausage. You can use andouille, or even kielbasa. I use 2 or 3 smoked ham hocks because this is the way stores usually sell them, but you can substitute ham or a hambone. Enjoy!"

I have cooked sauerbraten probably 30 times (with both beef and elk meat) and this is absolutely the best recipe I've ever tried. I've done both the 'bratensatz' and ginger snap methods, this one far excels! We ate until we were miserable! The only thing I did differently was add a touch of cream to the gravy at the very end. We used a 2 lb round...

Needless to say, there were NO leftovers! This one will be a 'sunday dinner' for whole family in the near future. Thank you Paula.""
