"I wasn't sure what to think. I found the reviews contradictory. I don't think I will try this recipe.
I enjoy reading, cooking (of course), country dancing, hiking, road trips, movies and quilting. I find cooking relaxing and it brings out my creativity. I've always wanted to be a chef but not sure if I have the courage to go for it. I am learning about spices and different ways to prepare food. I just bought Marcus Samuelsson's book "The Soul of a New Cuisine" and ordered some spices online so I can try the recipes. I come from Jamaica and our inspiration comes from "feeling" the food. I'm not sure how to explain. We do not cook from recipes and most of everything I know about cooking comes from my "within" and ideas I've picked up here and there. I remember cooking when I was younger and making up "concoctions" and people would rave about them. I love using fresh herbs and spices.
I love cooking just about anything! I love seafood, chicken, pasta, cabbage, and food in general. My favorite type of food is Indian but I am investigating others. I had Peruvian food last week and totally loved it. There is a restaurant called the Himalayan Kitchen in Salt Lake City, UT. Splendid place to eat.
