First, the bad reviews...added butter to the dough, that was for the frying. I was trying the spaetzle to make a spinach, goat cheese tomato red onion side dish for my son. I will use Tyler's mustard mushroom sauce and add the above ingredients. I am trying to copy the Goat Cheese Spaetzle at Julius Mienl in Chicago...the spaetzle is spot on for...

Easy to follow. I will reduce the salt to 1/2 tsp. I cannot wait to make this with the mushroom mustard sauce adding goat cheese, onion and tomato served as a meatless dish. Will let you know!

Slo_cook, if you do what you said. half and half and heavy cream...it is no longer a lower fat or diabetic friendly recipe. At that point use my recipe for French Silk Pie BUTTER, EGGS, CHOCOLATE AND SUGAR and Amaretto

Made this recipe today..after reading the reviews I added 11/2 tbs spoons of hot sauce, more like 1.4 tsp of nutmeg and a bit more milk to make it creamier. It is great!!"
