I am an accomplished cook, but have quit baking for the most part. My husband of 53 years is an artist, while I'm retired. To relax I love to crochet baby layettes and tiny little caps for the newborns in our local hospital. We have 2 sons, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.
I'm always looking for new recipes to try. Have written 3 cookbooks of my tried-and-true "keepers" from 53 years. We've given them to family and friends. Book 4 is in the computer, and a "real" cookbook is at the editor's. Obviously, cooking is my passion.
Our friends love it when I grill salmon for them, or do my version of Surf 'n' Turf. My hubby says I make a mean Spanish Rice, which is his personal favorite.

No sweets, even though we produce the only authentic Kringle outside of Denmark.
