Used 1 lb. beef so cut the ingredients in half, but used a lot more seasoning, oregano and basil. Grind the bread in a mini food chopper for finer crumbs and moisten them with 2 tablespoons of milk. If you have fresh parsley, use it! Great basic recipe. I bake mine and get about 25 1 1/2" meatballs. Mama';s sauce is also a great recipe."

Too simple to be this good! Added a shallot, used both wine and chicken base disolved in 1/2 cup water (not those nasty bullion cubes! and a sprig of rosemary, as I had no parsley. Cooked covered on low heat for an hour, til the meat was falling off the bone. Yum.
I forgot to add the splash of brine the first time. Second time I did add it...

I made this for 2. Added 2 tbl spoons of parmesan at the end. Oh yeah. You right.
I've made this dish 4 times and it's wonderful. Forgot to mention that I did cut the amount of flour about in half.
3 years later, I tried this with cooked turkey. Again wonderful. I make the sauce in the microwave and use 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk and cream."
