"This sounded great, but the end result was an overly sweet apple cake. It would probably be better with Granny Smith apples and a major reduction in the amount of sugar in the cake part. You need to have a HUGE sweet tooth to like this. We were really sad not to have enjoyed it more and ended up throwing most of it away. ""
