I am not a hominy fan so I simply ommited this along with the cilantro. It turned out great, just like when I was a kid back in Albuquerque. It was a taste of home. Maybe I will try it with hambuger meat also. It is a hit, but for heat and taste you must use real New Mexico green chilies, not Anaheims."
