Reviewed Smart Alec Pork Neck Bones Spaghetti - Pressure Cooker Style

Nov 14, 2013 in null on Food.com

11-13-13 This is so easy and so yummy. The only messy thing is picking the meat off the pork neck bones, something that does NOT bother me. Many would probably just leave the meat on the bones. I did add an extra step of BBQing the neck bones just for color before pressure cooking them. Could have done something the same by browning them in the ...

I ignored the green part only on the zucchini and used the whole thing (Anne does not like to see the seeds and I think this is silly and wasteful). I added a little chicken broth and a raw beef rib for broth (picked meat off rib later). I also added 3 packets of Swanson's Beef Flavor enhancer at the end INSTEAD of salt. Used mortar to just roughly...

Very tasty & Easy to Make. Use what you have - don't get hung up on ingredients list. I used 3 inch slice field pumpkin, 1 large sweet potato, 1 large parsnip, 12 ounces of carrots, 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, and roasted all in red wine & chicken broth. Added zuchini, fresh ginger, zest and juice of 1 large tangerine, and a slice of tofu (to...

I would say this is a great low cost low calorie dish to get vegetables into the kids especially. I believe that much of the confusion over the oregano comes from its different dried forms available in the markets. One form is ground and the other leaves. Recipes should state so we can adjust depending on what we have. Two heaping tsp. of my dried...

Cut the bacon in half to save calories. Added fresh corn cut from a small ear of corn and added it at the end with bacon. Cut up a couple of giant Greek olives and added them also before final combination.
Recipe is so simple! Used the food processor.
Fill the muffin cups to almost overflowing if you want full muffin. Dough does...

So tasty and modifiable to what you have available. Cut the butter in half. Instead of Bibb lettuce, used about 10 large spring Swiss chard leaves and stems and one huge kale leaf. Could have used asparagus, radish leaves, spinach, or ???. Added a carrot to add some extra vitamins. Blended half of the soup a little chunky and in the second batch b"

A wonderfully tasteful recipe I will make again. Cut the recipe back a tad as there are only 2 of us. Added 1 tsp fennel seed slightly crushed into skillet when frying onion & vegetables. Left out the peppers and added a pinch of pepper flakes. Added a rib of celery. Used a whole fennel - no need to remove heart. It is tender and sweet. If you hav"

Modified recipe to reduce sodium - 2 Tbsp low sodium light miso and 2 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce. Also added the juice of 1/4 a small lime and 1/4 tsp Chinese 5 Spice (just because I like the taste). Try for overnight marination.

Very tasty and easy to make. Nice soft mashed potato texture. Served in a melted butter sauce. The finely chopped porcini mushrooms made a nice color contrast. Make sure after hydrating that you chop finely as large chunks would make it difficult for the rolls to stay together.
