Reviewed Chicken Lemon Orzo Soup

Apr 15, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I just made a half batch of this soup and thought it was wonderful. I did not have any shallots, so I used a small onion and did not use the sherry since I don't cook with alcohol, other than that, the recipe was the same. It really packs a lemon punch, I will definitely make this again."

I just made these today, and they tasted great!!... but the only thing naked was my wallet after purchasing the nuts, cake mix, caramels, and chocolate chips (about $9.50, thank goodness I had butter and evaporated milk on hand. It seems expensive for only a 9x9 pan of brownies, I won't be sharing them, except with my husband. I did find it easi...

I just made this today for dinner and it was just ok tasting. I soaked the chicken in the buttermilk marinade overnight, and baked it today. I followed others advice and let the coating sit on the chicken for 15 minutes to adhere better, and I turned over the chicken midway thru the baking process. I still found the coating to break off when I tu"

These cookies were very good except my husband felt that the zest of 1 orange was too much, and overpowered the taste of the cinnamon. I will use only the zest of 1/2 orange the next time I make these, and add extra cinnamon to the sugar. To save on the mess, I put cling wrap down first, then the sugar, puff pastry, then more sugar and rolled with"

I tried this recipe today for my husband , and we enjoyed it, but it was still lacking something. I couldn't put my finger on it. I chose to chip my chicken after partially thawing the meat from the freezer, then I added the marinade, and let sit in the frig for 1 hour. It was really juicy, but I don't think the provolone added anything, next time...
